In the last year, Lizzy has worked countless hours to establish the Technical Theatre program's annual USITT Trip. USITT is the United States Institute of Theatre Technology’s annual conference. Theaters, graduate schools, and industry leaders gather every year, in a different location around the country, to share ideas, new technology, new methods, new materials, and to network. Needless to day, the USITT conference holds immense importance to the technical theatre community and opens doors for students eager to work in this field.
Lizzy wants her students to be able to have these professional opportunities, regardless of their family's financial situation. To make this trip possible annually, the Technical Theatre students need to raise $20,000-$30,000 to be able to attend. If you are interested in supporting this cause, please consider making a donation to the Technical Theatre Experiences fund with Chico State Enterprises. All money donated comes directly back to help our students cover the cost of this trip. Thank you!
